Active substances of Curcuma mangga obtained by percolation and produced viscous extract. Amprotab disintegrants was added each Formula (FI 7,55%), (FII 10%), (FIII 12,5%), and (FIV 15%). Viscous extract dried with Aerosil, granuled with addition of Avicel PH 101, Lactosa, Amprotab (intragranular) and ethanol 7%. Granule sieved wet sieve 12 mesh, then it is dried in teperature 55C during 30-40 minute. Dried granules sieved with 14/20 mesh, granules were tested for physical characteristic including flow time test, tapping index test and compactibilities test. Granule were mixed talc and mg stearat (9:1), compressed become tablet. Tablets were tested for physicl characteristic covered unformity of wight, hardness, friability, absorpsion and disintegration time. Test of HPTLC-Densitometry to tablets FI, FII, FIII, FIV and viscous extract with mobile phase chloroform and methanol (95:5) ml. The Data of HPTLC analyzed by comparing wide area under curve and used seen the Retardation factor (Rf) value. The data physical characteristic of granules and tablets were analyzed using one way of Analysis Varian with significance level of 95% for followed by t-test using Kruskal-wallis followed by Mann-whithney tset for non parametric.
The result test of physical characteristic for granule showed that increas concentration of Amprotab to result longer flow time, smaller tapping index and good concentration. The result test of physical characteristic for tablets showed by increasing concentration of Amprotab, uniformity of tablet weight to be better, increased friability, hardness smaller, increased absorption and disinegration time smaller. The result test of HPTLC-Desintometry tablets and viscous extract showed that increase concentration of Amprotab cause the decrease concentration of demethoxycurcumin. The conclutio of this research is formula one have highest concentration of demethoxycurcumin in granules and tablets.
